    Telecom sites run on 48 V DC plants where rectifiers feed the load and a battery string is permanently in parallel to carry it through a mains failure. EXBATT engineers, supplies, installs, and maintains rectifier systems, DC distribution, and site batteries for core sites, switching centres, and access networks in Kosova and Albania.

    -48V DC power plants with modular rectifiers, cabinet batteries (VRLA, TPPL, lithium), and controllers with remote monitoring. Sized for autonomy under real thermal conditions, not sheet ratings.

    Larger DC plants, parallel UPS, and dedicated battery rooms. Redundancy where a single failure cannot take the site down.

    Preventive maintenance across the whole site fleet, impedance testing on scheduled cycles, and stocked spares for the exact rectifier and battery models you run.

    How much autonomy should a telecom site have?
    Typical practice is 3 to 4 hours at access sites and 8 hours or more at core and switching sites, set by outage statistics and how quickly a generator or crew can reach the location.
    Which batteries suit unmanned sites?
    Sealed VRLA or lithium iron phosphate, because neither needs watering. Where cabinets run hot, lithium holds capacity far better, and its monitoring gives remote visibility of state of charge and cell health.
    Can a DC plant be upgraded while carrying traffic?
    Yes. Rectifier modules and battery strings are replaced in stages with the bus supported at all times, which is the standard approach on live core sites.
