EXBATT
    EXBATT
Industrial batteries palletized for safe transport and certified recycling.
    Services / End-of-Life Service

Batteries removed, transported and disposed of properly.

Safe take-back for lead-acid, lithium and nickel-based batteries. We collect, document and hand over to certified recyclers, then give you the disposal certificate.

    Short answer

EXBATT manages the end-of-life chain for industrial batteries: on-site collection, safe palletizing and transport, serial and weight records, handover to certified third-party recyclers, and a disposal certificate for your compliance file. We cover Kosova and Albania and can buy back scrap batteries from end-users when the material has recoverable value.

    Collection and transport

We collect from your site and prepare the load for certified recycling.

Our team picks up battery strings, modules or cells from telecom sites, substations, data centres and industrial plants. Loads are palletised, terminals are neutralised, and transport documents are prepared to meet hazardous material and chain-of-custody requirements before the load leaves your facility.

    Disposal documentation

Every load is recorded and every disposal is certificated.

You receive a weight and serial record at collection, and a disposal certificate once the recycler confirms destruction or recovery. The paperwork is structured for environmental audits, ISO management reviews, insurance files and regulator checks.

    • Weight and serial record at pickup
    • Certificate of disposal after recycler confirmation
    • Audit-ready file structure
    Scrap buy-back

We can purchase scrap batteries when the material has recoverable value.

For lead-acid and some lithium chemistries, EXBATT can pay the end-user for the scrap and then manage the recycler relationship ourselves. This removes the burden of finding a recycler, negotiating transport, and waiting for certificates.

    Certified partners

Recycling is performed by certified third-party recyclers.

EXBATT does not operate its own recycling plant. We act as the accountable collection, transport and documentation layer, handing material only to recyclers with the right environmental permits and recovery credentials for the chemistry involved.

    Frequently asked

What battery types do you take back?
Flooded lead-acid, VRLA AGM and GEL, TPPL, lithium-ion and lithium iron phosphate modules, and nickel-cadmium or nickel-metal hydride where they appear in installed equipment. We handle both small cabinet quantities and large substation or telecom plant removals.
Do you recycle on site or with a partner?
We do not operate a recycling plant. EXBATT collects, transports and documents the material, then hands it over to certified third-party recyclers who carry out the actual recovery or safe disposal.
    What paperwork do I receive?
A collection record with weight and serial numbers, and a disposal certificate once the recycler confirms processing. These are formatted for compliance audits and ISO environmental management files.
Is there a cost or do you pay for scrap?
It depends on the chemistry, volume and current material value. For lead-acid and some lithium scrap we can pay the end-user. For mixed, damaged or low-value loads we charge a collection and disposal fee. We quote after a quick inventory review.
    Which regions are covered?
Kosova and Albania are the primary coverage areas. For larger plant removals we can also arrange transport from North Macedonia and Montenegro through our regional logistics network.
