    The site had two separate problems, expensive demand peaks and short interruptions that spoiled production batches. One system addressed both.

    The brief

    Reduce billed demand peaks and protect sensitive process loads from short grid interruptions, without changing the production schedule.

    What we delivered

    Metering first. The load profile decided the power and energy rating, and the control strategy was written before the equipment was selected.

    • Load metering over a full production cycle
    • Power conversion and storage sized against the measured peak profile
    • Control strategy for peak limit, charge windows, and reserve floor
    • Fire detection, ventilation, and clearances designed into the enclosure layout

    Outcome

    Demand peaks are held below the agreed limit by the control strategy, and short interruptions no longer reach the sensitive process loads.
